Know the Job before You Apply

You may be surprised to know but there are many people who apply for jobs that they do not actually qualify for. Let us explain, when you apply for a job you have to make sure you meet the employer’s criteria. If you don’t it’s very likely that you CV can end up in the rubbish bin.

It’s fundamental to make sure that you do understand the requirements because you don’t want to be wasting your own time applying for jobs that you won’t get considered for. Each job will have its own criteria, and if you compile a list of jobs that you know you can do, you have the skills to do, and the passion for these roles, then you’ll save your own time and costs.

Not all job descriptions are entirely clear, so it’s important to do your homework on the company before you apply for a position. Without that initial research you may find you’ve wasted one hour of your life a plying for a job that you was never going to get considered for. Think ahead and make sure you know the job role before you apply today.
