When you’re growing frustrated in a job hunt and you are not hearing back after any interviews, you may say and do anything to get the job you crave. There are certain things that all employers will want to hear though and you may want to make sure you have them covered.
Overtime
There may be times when the business is struggling with the workload and this is when overtime can be an issue. If you say you’re the type of individual that embraces overtime and is a team player you’ll certainly be in with a shout.
Loyalty
Dedication and loyalty is always key. They won’t want to take you on if they feel your aspirations are elsewhere, so let them know you’re in it for the long haul while looking to develop and progress as part of a team.
Timekeeping
Time is valuable in every business so make sure they know that you’re a bit of a time freak. If you’re always on time and you’re not usually off sick then subtlety bring it in to the interview.
It’s these little things that will help you in a job hunt, but if you’re completely lying then it’s best to just avoid the question.
